My experiences with psychedelics began in my adolescent youth. My childhood had its moments of stress that led to me seeking chemical escapism. My first experience was with LSD. Two friends and I enjoyed the laughter, euphoria, and visuals. It helped me realize how insignificant the material world is. That love is all powerful. That death is just another step in a journey. My second experience didn’t go that well. I thought I was going to die. I did not use psychedelics again for 5 years.
Then I began seeking the “truth” through psilocybin, MDMA, and LSD. There was a 10 year period where I would ingest one of those 3 whenever I could. And for a 2 year period within those 10 I would use at least one of those 3 once a week. I do not believe I have suffered any adverse affects from the use of psychedelics. In fact I would say that I am a well rounded, relatively enlightened individual. I do believe that psychedelics can change the world.
